We have great horned owls trying to make babies and settle down in our woods!\u00a0 We have had barred owls for many years – we love their call of “Who, who, who cooks for you.”\u00a0 The call of the horned owl is different – a combination of short and long “whos.”\u00a0 When they are courting each other, they fluff out their tails when they call.\u00a0 It’s been fun watching them.\u00a0 Happy hour is about when I get home each night.\u00a0 It has been too dark to get a good photo.\u00a0 Here is a fuzzy image of what I saw:<\/p>\n
