{"id":843,"date":"2025-08-28T17:46:56","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T17:46:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bktrent.org\/?p=843"},"modified":"2025-08-28T17:46:56","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T17:46:56","slug":"peanut-butter-bars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bktrent.org\/index.php\/2025\/08\/28\/peanut-butter-bars\/","title":{"rendered":"Peanut Butter Bars *"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ingredients<br>For the Base:<br>\u25a21 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled (210g)<br>\u25a21 cup creamy peanut butter (300g)<br>\u25a21 \u00be cups powdered sugar (210g)<br>\u25a22 cups graham cracker crumbs, about 15 full-size crackers (240g) (or half crushed potato chips and half graham cracker crumbs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the chocolate topping:<br>\u25a21 \u00bd cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips (280g)<br>\u25a21\/4 cup creamy peanut butter (65g)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructions<br>Line an 8&#215;8 or 9&#215;9 dish with parchment paper or foil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crush graham crackers in a ziploc bag using a rolling pin or blitz using a food processor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Melt butter in a large bowl, add peanut butter and mix until smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beat in powdered sugar then fold in the crumbs.
