{"id":297,"date":"2014-11-03T18:27:49","date_gmt":"2014-11-03T18:27:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bktrent.org\/index.php\/2014\/11\/03\/jalapeno-blt-pizza\/"},"modified":"2014-11-03T18:27:49","modified_gmt":"2014-11-03T18:27:49","slug":"jalapeno-blt-pizza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bktrent.org\/index.php\/2014\/11\/03\/jalapeno-blt-pizza\/","title":{"rendered":"Jalapeno BLT Pizza+"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>1 thawed frozen pizza dough ball<\/li>\n<li>1 c or so arabiatta sauce<\/li>\n<li>6 slices bacon<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp jalapeno jelly<\/li>\n<li>2 thick sliced plum tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>2 c arugula or spinach<\/li>\n<li>1 c shredded mozzarella cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Heat oven to 450.<\/p>\n<p>Roll out dough, following directions on package.\u00a0 Transfer rolled out dough onto cooking pan lightly sprinkled with cornmeal.\u00a0 Pre-bake the dough for 5-8 minutes (otherwise dough tends to be soft in middle).<\/p>\n<p>Cook bacon and chop it up, tossing to coat it with the jalapeno jelly.\u00a0 Slice tomatoes.\u00a0 Toss arugula with olive oil.\u00a0 Set all aside.<\/p>\n<p>Pour the arrabiatta sauce onto the pre-cooked dough and spread around.\u00a0 Top sauce with cheese, tomatoes and jalapeno bacon.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer the pizza back to the oven and cook for another 5-8 minutes until it is done to your liking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Remove from oven and top with arugula.<\/p>\n<p>Cut and serve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1 thawed frozen pizza dough ball 1 c or so arabiatta sauce 6 slices bacon 3 Tbsp jalapeno jelly 2 thick sliced plum tomatoes 2 c arugula or spinach 1 c shredded mozzarella cheese 2 Tbsp olive oil Heat oven to 450.
